Vibrant, early-drinking shiraz with a peppery fragrance of raspberries, cherries, red plums and creamy coconut oak. Medium weight, it’s supple and smooth, with pleasingly lively berry flavours and oak underpinned by light, powdery tannins.
Honest, ripe and flavoursome, this oaky and spicy shiraz has a smoky aroma of cassis, plums and prunes over peppery spices and smoky mocha/coconut ice oak. Long and juicy, its vibrant palate of spicy blackberries, plums and redcurrants fits well with its generous measure of sweet oak. It’s framed by moderately firm tannins and finishes with some tight and refreshing acidity.
Slightly cooked and dehydrated, with meaty, jammy flavours of blackberries, dark plums, currants and berries made more sumptuous, sweet and mouthfilling courtesy of some generously applied sweet and smoky American oak. It finishes slightly syrupy and treacle-like, with lingering suggestions of menthol and licorice
Ripe, juicy and generous, this meaty, briary shiraz reveals a smoky presence of blackberries, raspberries, redcurrants and dark plums backed by vanilla and choc/mint oak. Long and smooth, with intense small fruits and polished oak framed by firmish, fine tannins, it finishes with pleasing length, structure and a hint of spirity warmth.
A pretty, spicy shiraz whose intense aromas of dark plums, berries and smoky chocolate oak are lifted by scents of violets, white pepper and a whiff of mint. Smooth, juicy and approachable, its rather long, juicy and elegant palate is tightly knit with fresh oak and plaint, fine tannins, finishing with persistent fruit and freshness.
Ripe, firm and oaky, with deep, minty, dark-fruited aromas of cassis, blackberries, dark plums and toasty vanilla oak backed by undertones of meatiness and currants. Its rich, choc-mint-like palate of dark plums and blackberries is rich and generous, but does taper off towards the finish, leaving lingering notes of currants and raisins.
Smooth and minty, which fiery, earthy and chocolatey undertones, this dark, spicy and lightly toasty shiraz greets its deep, briary presence of dark plums and blackberries with sweet, lightly toasty vanilla oak. ItÕs supported by a fine spine of bony tannins, and offers genuine length and richness of fruit.
An honest, fruit-driven shiraz whose spicy, lightly dusty and minty aromas of cassis, raspberries, violets and cedar/chocolate oak are backed by musky scents of cloves, herbs and cinnamon. ItÕs smooth and measured, with a brightly lit but restrained expression of black and red berries, plums and older oak supported by a slightly awkward extract.
Peppery, slightly jammy and minty aromas of cassis, blackberries and fresh chocolate/vanilla oak backed by a hint of polished leather precede a generous, full to medium-bodied palate. Its deep, dark-fruited and evenly ripened flavours of berries and plums are handsomely backed by slightly charry vanilla oak and framed by fine, pliant, loose-knit tannins.
An early-drinking shiraz whose sweet, confectionary aromas of blackberry, blueberry and raspberry compote are backed by sweet vanilla/coconut ice oak. ItÕs uncomplicated but generous, with a bright, jammy dollop of luscious fruit supported by firmish but pliant tannins, finishing soft and slightly sweet.
A vibrant, crowd-pleasing shiraz whose pristine aromas of cassis, blackberries, dark plums and fresh chocolate/mocha oak are lifted by a sweet perfume of blue flowers. ItÕs smooth and juicy, medium to full-bodied, with intense flavours of dark berries and plums supported by a fine-grained, dusty spine and complemented by fresh oak. It finishes with freshness, focus and lingering nuances of chocolate and mint.
