Smooth and very polished, this sumptuous but finely measured shiraz marries power and elegance. Backed by fresh chocolate, vanilla and cedary oak, its sweet fragrance of cassis, dark plums and redcurrants reveals nuances of roasting tray juices, minerals and a hint of leathery development. ItÕs classic Barossa, with a gentle, pliant spine of fine tannins beneath a luscious presence of vibrant fruit and tight-knit oak, holding its alcohol well and finishing with length, freshness and a mineral note.
Taut, tangy and focused, with a long, brittle palate of vibrant lime juice and green apple skin fruit wrapped in a nervy, mouthwateringly fresh acidity. Lifted by scents of white flowers and lavender, itÕs lustrous and textural, finishing with shape and dryness.
Lavender, lime, apple and pear perfume with hints of lemon and white flowers; long, taut and finely chalky. with bright zesty acids and a lingering lemon/lime finish. Long and crunchy.
Polished and measured, with deep, densely packed and meaty aromas of dark plums, blackberries and fresh chocolate/cedar oak lifted by spicy scents of white pepper. Marginally warm and spirity, its deep layers of black, blue and red berry fruits are knit with restrained cedary oak and framed by fine but firmish and drying tannins, finishing with a vibrant length of spicy fruit plus a hint of licorice.
A fine medium to full-bodied shiraz of genuine elegance and style. ItÕs fashioned rich, soft and smooth, with a fragrant, violet-like bouquet of small red berries, blood plums and fresh cedar/chocolate/vanilla oak backed by a hint of coconut. Long and smooth, with a pristine core of juicy dark berries and plums, fresh vanilla oak and licorice-like nuances underpinned by a fine, grainy backbone, it finishes with softness, freshness and persistence.
Long and elegant, fullish to medium in weight, laced with pepper, floral notes and vibrant small black and blue fruits, dark plums. Supported by faintly smoky oak and crunchy fine tannins, itÕs artfully balanced and complete, finishing with gamey, savoury aspects.
