A fast-developing, toasty and buttery riesling whose flavours have moved into the keroseney spectrum. Honeyed and slightly smoky, with penetrative undertones of lemon rind, its palate is broadening out, becoming quite oily and viscous in the process. Drink it while it retains its present degree of freshness.
Varnishy, oxidised and slightly volatile, this toasty, evolved and floral expression of lemon rind and buttery fruit is smooth and juicy, but finishes with a toasty, volatile rawness.
Heady, floral and deeply perfumed with lavender, musk, lime juice and pear over alluring slate-like undertones, this long, luscious and seamless riesling delivers a bright, even palate of youthful, juicy flavour. ItÕs underpinned by fine phenolics and punctuated by a crisp, but very gentle acidity. Finely balanced, very complete and elegant, it has a long cellaring future ahead.
Elegant and finely balanced, with genuine intensity but a delicate presence. Scented with a heady perfume of white flowers, peach, pear and lemon backed with a tea tin-like spiciness, itÕs very gentle, slowly unfolding layers of piercingly intense citrus and stonefruit flavours over a fine chalky backbone. Long and pure, it finishes with a fresh, crisp acidity.
Rich, round and unctuous, this heady, floral and spicy riesling delivers intense, bright and punchy aromas of lemon, lime and apple before a luscious, juicy palate of smoothness, length and almost a fatty viscosity. It finishes with crisp acids, and lingering notes of pear and peach.
A youthful, austere cellaring style of riesling whose intense, heady bouquet of lime juice and lemon blossom overlies a deep core of citrusy fruit and a hint of creaminess. ItÕs deeply concentrated, pure and essence-like, with a long, assertive fruitfulness extending long and intense down a firmish, chalky spine towards a finely balanced finish of bracing, lemony acids. Certain to evolve for many years.
A textured, spotlessly clean riesling whose moderately intense, spicy fragrance of lime juice and lemon rind are lifted by scents of white flowers and freshly sliced apple. ItÕs long and lean, with pristine flavours of lime juice and fresh apple skin supported by a fine, dusty texture and tightly finished by a taut, crisp, lemony acidity.
