Paradise IV Chardonnay 2016
Luscious, round and generous, packed with luxuriant flavour that rolls seamlessly towards a waxy, savoury finish of mouthwatering acids, this translucently bright chardonnay has a smoky, faintly meaty and mineral bouquet of melon, nougat and candied citrus fruit backed by notes of wild flowers and grilled nuts. It steadily reveals more length and drive of peach-like flavour, delivering both power and harmony.

Paradise IV
Paradise IV is one of the most sought-after labels in Victorian wine. It sits at the cutting edge of where cool climate Victoria is destined to head -Ę towards distinctive and unique expressions of special terroirs using a carefully chosen marriage of site, variety and philosophy. The Chardonnay is by some margin the finest from the Geelong region while the elegant, medium-weight and savoury Dardel Shiraz is a wine of international stature and greatness. Sadly -Ę to put it mildly -Ę its owners ripped up the vineyard prior to the 2019 harvest. Fortunately, for the immediate future at least, the spectacular 2017 vintage is in barrel and the 2018 wines are happily brooding in oak.
