mesh Riesling 2023
$36.00
A typical expression of mesh Riesling from a fine vintage. Heady aromas of musky white rose petals, pear and red apple skin reveal notes of lime and chalk. It’s long, juicy and mouthfilling, with a pristine, translucently bright core of vivacious fruit underpinned by a fine dustiness that extends long and complete, culminating in a lingering, refreshing finish.

mesh
mesh is the joint venture between an unlikely couple of riesling devotees, Jeff Grosset and Robert Hill Smith. The fruit is equally divided between the two parties but then, after vintage, the finished components are compared to define the final blend. mesh is usually heady and perfumed, remarkably floral and citrusy, with the classic lime juice qualities and chalky tightness expected of Eden Valley riesling. The adherence to style and quality by the last five vintages of mesh is quite extraordinary.
