Freycinet
Its heat-trap vineyard on TasmaniaŐs temperate East Coast provides Freycinet with a fine and relatively consistent climate for the ripening of wine grapes, with special preference to chardonnay, pinot noir and riesling, each of which can develop supremely intense aromas and flavours while retaining exemplary tightness and elegance. Its current releases again reflect what Freycinet excels at Đ a perfumed, silky Pinot Noir with the capacity to cellar, a finely balanced and fragrant Riesling made this time into a drier style, a bright, finely crafted Chardonnay and a handsome, stylish Cabernet Merlot.
