Devil’s Lair Margaret River Cabernet Blend 2006
Some polished winemaking using some fine-grained cedary oak has lifted some dusty rather leafy fruit into a smooth and supple wine with pleasing juiciness and intensity With just a short presence of berry flavour oak tends to lengthen the palate while it lacks much by way of structure and spine

Devil's Lair
Devil's Lair is a long-established Margaret River brand initially developed by wine, beer and hospitality entrepreneur Phil Sexton. Today, as Treasury Wine Estates' only significant Western Australian brand, it is expanding with the introduction of the high-end 9th Chamber wines (2011 Cabernet Sauvignon 94/100, drink 2023-2031) and the emerging The Hidden Cave and Dance with the Devil tiers of blended wines. Purity of focus and flavour are a consistent feature across the collection, which also features the popular Fifth Leg wines whose quality has just slipped a little.
