Raventos i Blanc
This small, family-owned operation in the heart of the Cava country, whose 90 ha have been producing grapevines since 1497, has actually formed its own appellation: Conca del Riu de Anioa as a reaction to what the Raventos family perceives as a devaluation of the Cava name by other producers. Planted to the classic Cava varieties of macabeo, xarello and parellada, plus other regional varieties, the site produces classic regional sparkling wines using in-bottle fermentation.
