Giant Steps Arthurs Creek Vineyard Chardonnay 2011

Pungent and evolved, this medium-weight chardonnay has a complex and developed bouquet of buttery melon, lemon and yellow peach backed by nuances of ginger and cloves. ItÕs luscious, plush and pristine, with intense flavours of peaches and cream, nectarine and a hint of melon, finishing with pleasing length and a lemony of slightly sappy acidity.

Giant Steps
Phil Sexton, an experienced operator in the wine, brewing and hospitality industries, has set up camp in a very major way at Healesville in the Yarra Valley, with the spectacular Innocent Bystander winery and hospitality centre, home to the Giants Creek range. Sourcing from several different vineyards whose wines are vinified and sold separately, the brand continues to fashion chardonnay and pinot noir of ever-increasing style and elegance. The steady improvement of the Sexton Vineyard and Tarraford Chardonnays over recent years is reflected by their elevated ratings.
