The sale by LVMH of its Pommery Champagne brand to the Vranken Monopole group has possibly created the world’s second-biggest Champagne producer, with 10% of the global market. Vranken Monopole now adds Pommery to its stable of Charles Lafitte, Heidesieck and Co and Vranken Champagnes.
