Looking for a start in Australian wine? The world’s largest private vineyard owner, Southcorp Wines, is shedding three of its South Australian vineyards, representing 970 ha of its current holdings of 6,250 ha. Located near Waikerie in the South Australian Riverlands, they are offered by national public tender through Wesfarmers Dalgety in South Australia. Southcorp says its new acquisitions and expansions of 950 ha over the next five years will offset any reduction in vineyard area.
