If you’re heading to Tasmania with the intention to pop into one or several of its emergent small wineries, there’s a new and easy way of getting yourself from one to another. The Tasmanian Wine Route focuses on the state’s two major wine districts, being the Tamar Valley and Pipers River Region near Launceston and the cluster of regions around Hobart. The Southern and Northern Tasmanian Wine Route maps clearly present the locations and details of many of the wineries that welcome visitors, including most of the top guns.
