Rosemount Estate
Not long ago Rosemount was the worldŐs most profitable wine brand. Back then, with only a small group of really high-end labels, it was the lower-tiered wines that carried the day, with a then-unbeatable combination of accessible taste and genuine quality. In wines like the Balmoral, Roxburgh, GiantŐs Creek and Mountain Blue (the latter three of which no longer exist) it also had a stable of consistent high-end performers that gave gloss to its mid and lower reach wines. Today there is some genuine quality dotted throughout the range Đ just taste recent releases of Balmoral for proof positive. The top end of the brand has been remodelled with the inclusion of several competent single vineyard release reds from McLaren Vale. The labels have also received yet another makeover.
