Hewitson Lu Lu Sauvignon Blanc 2010

Generous round and juicy likely to become even more rich and punchy Bright aromas of passionfruit and gooseberries reveal a faint herbaceousness a touch of mineral and a hint of cassis Its fresh mouthfilling palate of typical varietal lychee cassis melon and gooseberry flavour overlies a fine dustiness and texture finishing quite austere and briny with a mineral acidity

Winery

Hewitson
Dean Hewitson's wines reflect a technical stability and correctness plus a level of artisanship rare in Australian wine. His wines are so much more perfumed, restrained and elegant than most wines from the Barossa and McLaren vale, but deliver a lustrous intensity that only great vineyards can achieve. There's a true house style here, which is the envy of most small producers the world over. No wines reflect this better than the two mourvŹdres, each of which can produce a fragrance, purity and silkiness more commonly experienced with pinot noir.
