[question] Question submitted by James Huggett, Australia. What is your preference for storing screwcap bottles-upright or horizontally? I have observed that some wineries send wine one way and others the other way. With no corks to be kept moist I have been storing my screwcap wines upright. Am I doing the right thing? [/question] [answer] Good question. I honestly can’t see any reason to store any wine sealed with an inert seal that works in any particular position. [/answer]
