    Taylors St Andrews Shiraz 1999
    Jeremy’s score 93/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Fine, balanced and musky shiraz, whose almost heady aromas of sweet red berries, blackcurrants and plums are matched by smoky vanilla oak. Vibrant dark berry fruit bursts through the suppleness of the palate, married with finely integrated oak and tight tannins.

    Taylors St Andrews Shiraz 2000
    Jeremy’s score 87/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Pruney, dark pepper aromas of smoked meats backed by nuances of mint, fennel and currants, before a dead grape-like palate lacking much vitality. Thick, heavily spiced flavours of prunes, currants and chocolate fruitcake are commanding, but lack charm. The finish is tinged with herbal, even salty influences.

    Taylors St Andrews Shiraz 2002
    Jeremy’s score 88/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Sumptuous and smoky, this extracted and overcooked shiraz supports its meaty, currant-like fruit with ground coffee and chocolate oak influences. It’s slightly varnishy, with some drying out from the back of the palate. As it breathes in the glass it does reveal more of a presence of vibrant and lively fruit, but it remains rather too heavy and oaky.

    Taylors St Andrews Shiraz 2003
    Jeremy’s score 90/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

An old-fashioned, firm and astringent shiraz whose bouquet of cassis and currants has evolved leathery, cedary complexity and reveals undertones of currants, vanilla and chocolate. ItÕs meaty, robust and rustic, with deep flavours of raisins and prunes, but does deliver plenty of richness and follow-through of fruit.

    Taylors St Andrews Shiraz 2006
    Jeremy’s score 87/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Very ripe and oaky, with a meaty, spicy bouquet of blackberries and plums almost lost under a swathe of smoky vanilla and dark chocolate oak. The palate is especially charry and old-fashioned, with deeply ripened dark fruits somewhat subdued by polished mocha and smoked oyster-like cooperage.

    Taylors St Andrews Shiraz 2010
    Jeremy’s score 90/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

A meaty, spicy old-fashioned Australian red whose peppery, Bovril-like aromas of bloody, densely packed plum and blackberry-like fruit reveals briary, mocha-like undertones. Steeped in ripe, luscious flavours of sweet red and black berries and plums knit with assertive chocolate/cedar/vanilla oak, itÕs framed by firm but pliant tannins, finishing with power and length, if not perhaps yet charm and balance.

    Taylors St Andrews Shiraz 2012
    Jeremy’s score 88/100

    Rated 0 out of 5

Smooth and oaky, this medium-term shiraz has a polished, meaty and mocha-like bouquet of blackberries and dark plums backed by charry, chocolatey oak and nuances of cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg. ItÕs jammy and fractionally overripe, with assertive toasty, treacle-like vanilla oak lending palate sweetness to a slightly baked and hollow presence of blackberry, plum and currant flavour.
