Orlando’s release of its very worthy 50th anniversary Barossa Riesling brings to mind an issue confronting another of its riesling labels. One of its well-established rieslings is presently sharing shelf-space with another very similarly-named wine made by another Australian producer. Frankly, without claiming any particular abilities in the intellectual property area of law, I’m surprised that the other maker in question has not been required to withdraw its wine.
