Normans Wines Ltd has ensured its future supply of premium fruit with the purchase of 162 ha of prime McLaren Vale land with 40 ha of existing vines, to which it will add another 80 ha of vineyard. Once fully yielding, the expected production of 150,000 cases of wine will be directed in part towards the company’s premier Chais Clarendon label. The purchase was valued at $6.7 million.
