There have now been more than forty confirmed cases of Grape Vine Leaf Rust, the potentially devastating grape disease that was uncovered in Darwin last year. While it prefers a tropical climate, it can survive and prosper in maritime conditions. Furthermore, it can be spread by wine and the transport of vines. No doubt this is a serious threat, and an eradication campaign in Darwin is due in the New Year.

Can’t find your favourite wine?
