Orlando Wyndham’s managing director Christian Porta reckons his leading brand could sell 10 million cases a year by 2005, a significant increase over 2001 sales of 5.5 million cases in 53 countries. Porta does not believe Jacob’s Creek will suffer with the present possible grape surplus, saying that much of the fruit in question comes from young vines and does not meet Jacob’s Creek quality standards.
