A single bottle of 1951 Grange fetched $17,600, a record price at the recent Penfolds Classic Wine Auction at Magill, Adelaide, while a set of 13 Grange magnums, from 1979 to 1991, fetched $15,400. A bottle of one of the greatest of all Australian wines, the 1962 Bin 60A blend of Coonawarra Cabernet and Barossa Shiraz collected $550. It, hopefully, will actually be drunk.
