Just when you thought they’d made absolutely the last word in corkscrews comes Screwpull’s latest prestige effort, the Lever Model Elegance. The ‘standard’ Lever Model is re-equipped with rust proof and scratch resistant techno-look chrome-plated zinc arms which adds weight to the device. While it makes opening a bottle a slightly more stable process, its increased weight does make its operation a rather more physical task to perform. The retail price is around $450.

Can’t find your favourite wine?
