Figures released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) reveal a 5.7% fall by volume in exports in July 2001 compared to the year before. They were also down 13.8% on the previous month. Furthermore, domestic sales have fallen by 2.4% over the same period compared to a year ago. Can’t hear anyone talking tax relief, though.
