Small Yarra Valley pinot noir makers Diamond Valley Vineyards continued its dominance of the best pinot noir (2 years of age and older) trophy at the Canberra National Wine Show. From its tiny 0.8 ha vineyard of mature pinot noir, Diamond Valley Estate Pinot Noir 1998 (18.3, drink 2003-2006) continues a fine tradition with a fifth win for this label, possibly the most decorated of all Australian pinot noirs on the show circuit.
