Redbank Victoria, a wine brand owned by the Hill Smith family of Yalumba fame, has responded to the difficulties experienced by many of its growers in North East Victoria in 2003. In addition to honouring every single grape-growing contract it had with growers in the North East, Redbank Victoria donated $2 from every case of wine sold nationally from July 1 2003 until December 31 2003, raising $55,626.00 to go towards the purchase of a state of the art fire-fighting vehicle for the local Fire Brigade.
