BRL Hardy Ltd has acquired a 50% joint venture interest in a new Chilean wine brand, Mapocho, whose wines are to be made by Central Valley producer Jose Canepa and distributed internationally through the BRL Hardy network. This operation adds to BRL Hardy’s list of overseas interests which includes the majority ownership of the Domaine de la Baume winery in France, a joint venture in New Zealand with Nobilo and National Liquor Distributors Limited and operating subsidiaries in Europe, USA and Canada.
