Garry Crittenden, the energetic former horticulturist who in a second proferssional life became one of the pioneers of the Mornington Peninsula, has handed over the winemaking reins at Dromana Estate Limited to his son, Rollo. The move coincides with the opening of the company’s new 500 tonne winery at its 32 ha Tuerong Park vineyard. Rollo Crittenden has worked the past seven vintages at Dromana Estate as well as having worked several vintages in the northern hemisphere.
