I’m happy to keep magnums for around 50% longer than I would for 750 ml bottles. But given that it’s likely to be sealed by a cork, which can deteriorate and lose its effectiveness as a seal in a number of ways, I’d be anxious about leaving a wine in a magnum for a very long time. But, given that I still keep some 750 ml bottles a very long time, I’m perhaps being inconsistent. But by and large, you’re pretty correct. [/answer]
