BRL Hardy shares continue their dramatic increase in value. Following news of its purchase of the Californian wine producer Blackstone through its ‘Pacific Wine Partners’ joint venture with Constellation Brands Inc, they have broken A$11 per share. The venture, which had allocated US$500 million for potential acquisitions, believes that this deal will remove the need for other purchases. Blackstone’s annual sales are already greater than 500,000 cases, which should double the joint venture’s US sales in a single move.
