Break some Winebread

Reviving an ancient European baking custom, The Australian Winebread Company makes bread using winemaker’s yeast lees in the baking process. The four types of Winebread̫ now available are Chardonnay, Chardonnay Pecan, Pinot and Pinot Fruit. I’ve tasted them all with different cheeses and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The breads last for seven days and retail between $3.50 and $4.00. They are not only well distributed in Melbourne and from David Jones in Market St, Sydney, but are sold in other states through G & K Fine Foods, on 03 9706 6555. Visit www.winebread.com.au or call David Robinson on 0418 581 892 for details.
