Best Wine Lists for 1999

Melbourne restaurant Syracuse was recently anointed National Winner of Tucker Seabrook’s 1999 Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards. The Avondale Golf Club (NSW) was awarded Best Club Restaurant, Stefano’s at the Mildura Grand Hotel was Best Country/Regional Restaurant, la mensa (NSW) was named as the Best Small Wine List, the Ozone Hotel at Queenscliffe (Vic) was awarded Best Pub Restaurant, while the Universal Wine Bar (Adelaide) was named Best Cafe/Brasserie/Trattoria. Western Australia | Liquor Control Act 1988: WARNING - Under the Liquor Control Act 1988, it is an offence: to sell or supply liquor to a person under the age of 18 years on licensed or regulated premises; or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase, or attempt to purchase, liquor on licensed or regulated premises.
