Unitholders of Australian wine financier The International Wine Investment Fund have lifted borrowing limits and restrictions on overseas investments in order to invest A$6m into the Rhone Valley’s Gabriel Meffre. In 2000 it also invested in French producer Michael Laroche. The fund is apparently gearing up to consider other investments in countries like Spain, Germany, Chile, Argentina and the US.
