[question] Question submitted by Jeff. I read your article titled, “Australian shiraz caught in the crossfire” and feel honored to tell you and the producers of the $20-$50 product suite that you have absolutely nothing to be concerned of regarding the moronic Wall Street indictment of “Dotty” and “Johnny”. You see, the product stands on its own here in the US and the average American wine enthusiast flock to local retailers to not only purchase our trusted Australian stand-bys year-after-year, but also in search of that next gem. I for one (American) stock 60-70% of my cellar with Australian Shiraz in preference over the watered-down, “October Vintage” California reds.. Keep up the GREAT work Australia!! – Jeff M, Pennsylvania [/question] [answer] Thanks Jeff. I’m sure that there are many Australian winemakers who will be delighted to hear your views. [/answer]
