Important Notice to Subscribers regarding this site

I would like to bring you up to speed with the development of the new site and the transition to my new site, and to explain some issues that have emerged with security certificates. The new site is essentially ready to implement. The last phase is the importing of a huge amount of data from this current website database into the new database. Sadly, this has not been as straightforward as it might have been, since the new site constantly rejects what it recognises as corruptions in data. These are as simple as carriage returns and line breaks in fields, but they all need to be addressed. While these corruptions have not affected the operation of this particular site, they are sufficient to stop the import process. As a result, every corruption has brought a halt to the process, before it then has to be found, corrected and the process recommenced. At least, once this is complete, I know for a fact that I will have the cleanest database on the planet! While it is hard to put an estimate to the time this will take, I believe that a day or two should see it to completion. The final database to load is my ratings file from my own Filemaker, which should hopefully be easier! This site remains as secure today as it has ever been. In full belief that I would have moved site by now, I did not renew my Thawte certificate, which incidentally has never been displayed on this site. The site conducts its business via an ANZ payment gateway and as such is fully secure. If you go to a transaction page, you will note that the page address begins with https:, which is an indication of full security. Some browsers, however, require you to go through a process to continue accessing the site. This can be done with full confidence. Another present drawback is that the absence of a valid Thawte certificate is upsetting the connection between my current payment system and my client management system. This can lead to receipts not being send to people who have just transacted with the site, and it also requires my team to manually ensure that access that has been paid for is enabled. If you have not been sent a receipt, please email my office at [email protected] and I will ensure that one is emailed back promptly. However, despite some surprises and setbacks, I am confident that these difficulties will be resolved very quickly and that the new site will be fully operational within a short period of time. We are literally working around the clock to minimise the inconvenience this transition has caused, and apologise unreservedly for this. Once the new site is live, all subscribers will have their subscriptions extended by six months. I thank you for your patience. Jeremy Oliver.
