This Sunday I am hosting a brief but very interesting tasting at Camberwell Primary School, 290 Camberwell Rd, Camberwell, in Victoria. Since the school is essentially bilingual, with much of the tuition delivered in French, the theme for my tasting is The French Influence on Australian Wine. The tasting is scheduled for 12.45 pm this Sunday, March 22, and will last for around 75 minutes. The wine list makes for quite impressive reading, being Yarrabank Cuvee, Seppelt Original Sparkling Shiraz, Cape Mentelle Walcliffe Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2006, Kooyong Ferrous Pinot Noir 2005, Sutton Grange Syrah 2005 and the un-released Mount Mary Quintet 2005. It promises to be a great little tasting and a fun chat. The price of admission is a mere $40 per head. You can book by calling 98824663 or at this address: www.camberwellps.vic.edu.au. See you there!
