The annual Wines of the Decade Auction to raise money for the Deafblind Association at Melbourne’s Grand Hyatt hotel last Saturday night appears to have set a new record for the combined live and silent auctions of around A$81,000. This represents a very positive outcome for the event, which sold hundreds of wine lots, each of which were entirely donated by generous Australian wine producers, importers, wholesalers and retailers. My sincere thanks to all involved.
