The Alambie Wine Company now, Australian Premium Wines Pty Ltd, has announced a capital raising of $6 million to fund its expansion into the premium wine market, including its recent purchase of McLaren Vale-based Haselgrove Wines. The company’s after-tax profit exceeded $1 million for the first time in 1997. The prospectus is available from JB Were and Son, Level 17, 101 Collins St, Melbourne, 3000.
