The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) says that in the last financial year the average price per litre for exported Australian wine has risen from $4.67 to $5.23. Exports in the eleven months to May amounted to A$1.6 billion (300 million litres), against A$1.3 billion (284 million litres) in the entire financial year before. Sacre bleu!
