Unplanted land in the Margaret River region is now fetching premium prices to match the most expensive in Coonawarra and the Yarra Valley. Well above the established regional cost of $5,000 – $6,000 per acre, an unplanted property within a few kilometres of Moss Wood recently fetched $11,000 per acre. Most growers are no doubt already revaluing the their properties.
