The WA Paradox

When you take the time to consider that the whole of Western Australia only crushed 16,000 tonnes in 1996 (out of a record national crop of 885,000 tonnes), the impact of its wine industry far exceeds its paltry 1.8% contribution to Australian wine. The answer to this paradox is breathtakingly simple: pound for pound, WA is clearly our best maker of top-quality wine.
