Without quite its typical focus and definition, this is a generous and surprisingly weighty, almost unctuous Hunter semillon whose sherbet-like aromas of lemon pith and melon are backed by a mineral note. Long and quite viscous, with a tangy spectrum of melon fruit over a crunchy mineral backbone, it finishes quite savoury, with a zesty note of lemon. Give it some air before drinking.
