Deeply layered and gravelly, medium to fullish in weight, it’s firm and textural, with a deep core of dark fruit and creamy oak that drives long and savoury, finishing with a hint of rustic complexity. Definitely more Old World than new, and easily able to surpass some significantly more expensive competition.
