An elegant, pristine and translucently clear chardonnay whose fragrant bouquet of of grapefruit, lemon rind and ginger reveals suggestions of smoked meats, cinnamon, coriander and mineral plus a whiff of vanilla oak. Generous and creamy, it’s pithy and piercingly flavoured, finishing with a brittle acidity. If not for some slightly drying oak, it would rate even higher.
