It’s supple and finely textured, with long and vivacious core of ruit underpinned by pliant, loose-knit tannins, finishing with gentle acids. Really charming now and over the next decade.

Chapel Hill
Chapel Hill is a very reliable and first-rate McLaren Vale maker of deeply layered and firmly structured red wines and lively, vivacious whites. The 2013 vintage reds fall into the more deeply ripened category and while they're never overcooked on the vine, I'd love to see them retain a little more brightness and intensity in the bottle.
